I captured this shot of Emirates' first A380 a moment before it touched down at New York JFK International Airport after a 13 hour 45 minutes flight from Dubai, on the occasion of the first commercial Airbus A380 service to the United States, on August 1, 2008. I took this picture from the Emirates lounge in JFK's Terminal 4, where the airline had organised a big event to mark the occasion.
